The International Food Regulatory & Specification Manager is responsible for managing an international team of specification management experts and supporting What’s Cooking? food regulatory compliance activities.As a key food regulatory subject matter expert, this role provides guidance, alignment, interpretation, and training to the specification management experts, and cross-functional teams to support international product development, commercialization, and customer requirements.Your role:Ensure compliance of products and ingredients with applicable international food regulations, focus on EU and UK food regulatory frameworks.Interpret and apply international food regulations related to:Quid labeling, nutritional values labelling, Food additives and usage limits, E-number approvals and restrictions, GMO regulations and labeling requirementsReview and approve formulations, ingredient & nutrition statements, labels, and claims for international markets.Support international product launches by assessing regulatory risks and compliance requirements for target countries.Monitor changes in food regulations and proactively communicate impacts to internal stakeholders.Serve as a regulatory resource for internal departments including Quality, R&D, Sales, Operations, and Customer Service.Respond to international customer regulatory inquiries and support documentation requests.Develop, maintain, and update regulatory documentation, including specifications, compliance statements, and certifications.Translate complex international regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance for non-regulatory audiences.Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities to educate internal teams on international regulatory topics.Collaborate with external partners, consultants, and customers as needed to support global regulatory compliance.Complete assigned projects accurately and in a timely manner and perform other regulatory-related duties as assigned.
