What will you do as a Customer Service Specialist?
Act as the first point of contact for both internal and external customers and actively build a strong customer network.
Be responsible for the operational follow-up from factory dispatch through to delivery to the end customer. Monitor stock levels at logistics partners, manage blocked or non-saleable products, and coordinate returns and further processing.
Manage administration accurately and ensure that sales order entry, assortments, customer-specific product descriptions, and product numbers are always up to date.
Process orders and sample requests correctly and follow them up end-to-end. Communicate shortages in a timely manner, discuss alternatives, and align backorders with customers and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate product launches and discontinuations with customers and forecasting teams.
Follow up promotional activities, analyse volume estimates, and continuously align with production, supply chain, and sales.
Follow up and register empties with customers to ensure balances are properly managed and reconciled.
Stay continuously up to date with developments in customer service and supply chain to provide a high-quality and proactive service.
Who are you?
You hold a bachelor’s degree and have several years of relevant work experience.
You communicate effectively at all levels, possess strong analytical and problem-definition skills, and demonstrate a healthy level of assertiveness with a results-oriented mindset.
In addition to an excellent command of Dutch, you have a good knowledge of English and French. German is an advantage.
What do we offer?
A key role in a stable, innovative, and forward-thinking Belgian group with a genuine international footprint.
A front-row seat to food manufacturing. There's something genuinely satisfying about working in an industry that makes products people actually enjoy.
The autonomy to do your best work.
Fantastic colleagues who are genuinely excited to welcome you and share their expertise — a warm culture and personal approach make sure you feel at home from day one.
A competitive salary package with a strong set of benefits: meal vouchers hospitalization insurance, and a pension plan.
Most importantly: a place where you truly belong. What's Cooking? is built on an open, informal culture where we're proud of what we do, focus on continuous improvement, celebrate wins together, and genuinely enjoy working as a team.
