As part of our development, we are looking for a Production Planner to ensure production scheduling for the manufacture of lasagne at our production site in Wanze.Your responsibilities:You will be responsible for production planning and scheduling at the Wanze plant.You prepare the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for the coming week(s) based on sales forecasts (including promotions), technical stoppages, R&D tests, finished goods stock, and personnel availability.You lead the weekly planning meeting with the Plant Manager, Production, Maintenance, and Supply Chain managers to validate the production plan and prioritise tasks.You adjust the production schedule on a day-to-day basis to respond to emergencies and technical issues.You schedule production orders, optimising the sequence of products to minimise changeover times and cleaning, while taking into account allergen constraints, shipping priorities, and product shelf life.You monitor production order progress in real time and coordinate priorities with production team leaders.You work closely with the Material Planner, communicating any scheduling changes requiring action clearly and promptly. You adjust the schedule based on potential delivery or quality issues with raw materials or packaging.You configure and maintain planning system parameters to ensure a functional scheduling tool.You communicate with Customer Service to inform clients of any expected delivery deviations.Your objective is to find the optimal balance between the required customer service level, stock levels, machine capacities, changeover times, potential downtime, and available personnel.You work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and the site Material Planner, providing backup support during holiday periods.You collaborate with your counterparts at the Marche-en-Famenne site, as some products can be manufactured at both sites and volume transfers may occur depending on capacity.Planning in the food industry can be dynamic (raw material quality issues, technical problems, etc.). When required, you respond quickly and take the initiative to bring together the relevant stakeholders to find a solution.
