As a Demand Planner, you are responsible for developing, analysing and continuously improving the demand planning for our products.
You play a crucial role in identifying customer needs and thereby support our growth and profitability.
The Demand Planner …
• leads the forecasting process as input for S&OP, S&OE, budget and IBP.
• analyses statistical forecasts and historical sales data, evaluates trends, seasonal patterns and outliers, and translates these into accurate demand forecasts.
• holds overall responsibility for forecast accuracy, both for regular volumes and promotions.
• works closely on a daily basis with Sales, Marketing and customers to analyse market information and refine short-term forecasts.
• is an expert user of demand planning tools and takes the initiative to further optimise them.
• prepares KPI reports on forecast accuracy and actively implements improvement actions.
• continuously aligns with Supply Chain colleagues to ensure optimal inventory levels and to avoid waste or service issues.
• analyses customer ordering behaviour and manages forecast consumption strategies and daily load profiles.
• participates in improvement projects within demand management and optimises information exchange between departments.
• manages the forecasting and ordering of externally purchased finished goods.
Who are you?
• You hold a Master’s degree, preferably in an economic, logistics or analytical field.
• You are analytically strong and work in a structured way with data and systems.
• You communicate smoothly with various stakeholders and are confident in taking responsibility.
• You are proactive, results-driven and continuously seeking improvements.
• You have a good command of English; knowledge of French and Dutch is an advantage.
