What are your responsibilities as a Maintenance Manager?
You define the company’s policy regarding procedures for managing the machine fleet, implement them, and continuously improve them in consultation with the Plant Manager, in order to provide optimal and effective support to the Production department.
You participate in the development of the Management Control & Reporting System and implement it at the plant and technical department levels.
You define performance indicators, prepare reports, and monitor maintenance activities in consultation with the Plant Manager.
You establish the maintenance strategy for the entire plant (maintenance master plan).
You implement and apply the continuous improvement strategy on the site in the technical field.
You lead, coach, and develop your team members to ensure the proper functioning of the department.
You are also responsible for carrying out maintenance activities within the defined limits.
You ensure corrective handling of breakdowns and are capable of managing emergencies by proposing corrective actions.
You are the main point of contact for all interactions with subcontractors.
You participate in the development, industrialization, and implementation of new products/concepts.
You come up with original and innovative solutions while respecting safety principles.
You contribute to the development of the investment plan and prepare the operating budget for the maintenance department.
You communicate with managers regarding the application of safety, quality, and environmental standards and regulations.
As a networking-oriented person, you stay informed about developments in your professional field. You monitor the market and its evolution regarding new trends through trade fairs or suppliers.
You continue to improve your use and application of continuous improvement principles (TPM).
You continuously improve their reliability and availability, within the established budget framework, in order to guarantee continuity of the production process.
You are responsible for all the plant’s technical equipment (production facilities, machines, buildings, and grounds.
Who are you?
You hold an engineering degree, a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or have at least 5 years of proven experience in a maintenance manager position.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools, and experience using an ERP system is an advantage.
Organized and detail-oriented, you are also able to manage and adapt to unexpected production issues.
Solution-oriented, you can develop solutions independently while complying with established rules and standards.
When necessary, you can demonstrate creativity to resolve difficult situations.
You have strong communication skills both with your technical teams and with other production departments.
